The IP to Country Database

is currently down since 1 week, but when does it will be okay ?
This service will stay free ??

Hey Xavier,

The IP-to-Country Database is FREE and always will be. You can download and use it anytime.

The web service will be re-introduced in the near future with certain restrictions in terms of the number of requests. This has to be done because it is not viable in the long run as it has costs involved in terms of bandwidth and resources.

We might also introduce a pay'ed version of the web service where you can buy 'n' number of requests for 'x' number of dollars with a guaranteed service level. This of course will be very cheap as it will just about cover the costs that are involved. The idea is to keep it self-sustained so that it survies in the long run.

Okay, i understand.
So the best way for me is to download database and create my own MySQL request.
